Welcome to the Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Series for Midwives and Nurses at KEMH.

You will be able to access all resources and course materials through Moodle, which is an acronym for ModularObject-OrientedDynamicLearning Environment, also referred to as a Learning Management System (LMS).  You are encouraged to actively engage in the series both through interaction at the face to face study sessions and through exploration of content and links provided through Moodle.

 Content:

This series has been developed as a direct result of the findings from a research study conducted at KEMH in 2013.  There were 238 midwives who participated in the survey that was used to explore perinatal mental health learning needs of midwives along with an assessment of their current knowledge of, and attitudes towards, mental health disorders.
