Emergency Management

This section outlines the emergency management training obligations for NMHS staff to complete the annual Emergency Management Procedures training, the fire extinguisher equipment training, and an evacuation drill or self-directed walk through.

Please consult with your manager for site specific advice on what's required to attend practical training, as this may vary from campus to campus.

Enrolment

Enrolment to this eLearning package is automatic for NMHS Moodle users, alternatively please email NMHS.MoodleSupport@health.wa.gov.au with your full name and email address.

MHPHDS Emergency Management Training 2023

This part covers the theory behind the emergency procedures using in health care facilities.  Review the eLearning package before attempting the Emergency Procedures Quiz below.  A passing grade of 80% is required to completed this part.

 

Instructions

Please read the instructions below, which will guide you through the steps of this package.

Step 1: Click on the 'MHPHDS Emergency Procedures eLearning Training' link and start the course.

Step 2: Once you have completed the eLearning package in Step 1, return to this page and click on the  'MHPHDS Emergency Procedures eLearning Quiz' link to complete the quiz.  A passing grade of 80% is required to complete this quiz. 

Step 3: Access your  'MHPHDS Emergency Procedures eLearning' Certificate of Completion. This certificate will be unavailable until you have successfully completed the eLearning training and the quiz.

School Dental Service Emergency Procedures Training

This course has been created to allow School Dental Service staff (SDS DHS) to complete the Emergency Procedures component (only) of their annual mandatory Emergency Management training.  Participant self-enrolment is enabled for this course, provided you have an existing Moodle account.
